बॉलीवुड अभिनेता जगदीप की बुधवार को निधन हो गया. वो 81 साल के थे.
Indian Express की एक रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, जगदीप ने मुंबई में आख़िरी सांसें लीं.
जगदीप का असली नाम सैयद इश्तियाक़ अहमद जाफ़री था. उन्होंने लगभग 400 फ़िल्मों में काम किया था.
रमेश शिप्पी की शोले में ‘मेरा नाम सूरमा भोपाली ऐसे ही नहीं है’ डायलॉग सबकी ज़ुबान पर चढ़ गया था. अंदाज़ अपना अपना में उन्होंने सलमान ख़ान के पिता का रोल निभाया था.
