ओडिशा का सिमिलिपाल नेशनल पार्क एशिया का दूसरा सबसे बड़ा Biosphere Reserve है. इसके जंगल में क़रीब दो सप्ताह से आग लगी हुई थी, जिसे बुझाने में राज्य दमकल विभाग के हज़ारों कर्मचारी लगे थे.
लेकिन दिन-रात लगे रहने के बावजूद आग पर काबू पाना नामुमकिन सा होने लगा था. ईश्वर की कृपा से 10 मार्च को वहां बारिश हुई और आग धीरे-धीरे बुझने लगी. अब वन्यप्रेमी और वन अधिकारियों के लिए इससे बड़ी ख़ुशी की बात क्या होगी.
ऐसे में एक महिला वन अधिकारी मारे ख़ुशी के नाचने लगी. उसका एक वीडियो डॉ. युगल किशोर ने ट्विटर पर शेयर कर दिया. इसके सोशल मीडिया पर आने के बाद से ही ये वायरल हो गया है.
वीडियो में जो महिला वन अधिकारी दिखाई दे रही हैं उनका नाम स्नेहा ढल बताया जा रहा है. वो सिमिलिपाल के जंगलों में लगी आग को बुझाने में दिन-रात लगी हुईं थीं. इसमें वो भगवान को बारिश करने के लिए शुक्रिया अदा करती दिख रही हैं. आप भी देखिए:

आपकी जानकारी के लिए बता दें कि सिमिलीपाल नेशनल पार्क ओडिशा के मयूरभंज ज़िले में है. ये क़रीब 5 हज़ार वर्ग किलोमीटर एरिया में फैला है. ये जैव विविधता के हिसाब से भारत के महत्वपूर्ण इलाकों में से एक है. इस आग के कारण कई प्रकार के जीव-जंतूओं, पेड़ और औषधियों का नुक़सान देश को हुआ है.
