26 फरवरी की सुबह भारतीय वायु सेना ने जैश-ए-मोहम्मद के आंतकवादियों को मार गिराया. इसके बाद से ही सरहद पर तनाव बढ़ने की आशंका जताई जा रही थी.
आज सुबह पाकिस्तान ने भारत की आकाश सीमा का उल्लंघन किया. भारत की ग्राउंड फ़ोर्स ने इसका पता लगाया और पाकिस्तान को उसकी करतूत का जवाब दिया भारतीय वायु सेना ने. विदेश मंत्रालय के मुताबिक, जवाबदेही में पाकिस्तान का एक विमान क्षतिग्रस्त हो गया और भारत का MiG 21 विमान भी. मंत्रालय के प्रवक्ता रवीश कुमार ने एक पायलट की गुमशुदगी की भी बात भी बताई.
सरहद का तनाव सोशल मीडिया पर भी साफ़ तौर पर नज़र आ रहा था. युद्ध के बारे में लोग लिखने लगे. कुछ लोगों ने इसका कड़ा विरोध किया और #SayNoToWar ट्विटर पर सबसे ऊपर ट्रेंड करने लगा.
