मौसम और स्नैक्स का ज़िक्र चल रहा था, तो हमने भी लोगों से उनके फे़वरेट मानसून स्नैक के बारे में पूछ डाला. इसके बाद फ़ूडी लोगों ने ऐसा जवाब दिया कि बस ये समझ लो बस, जी ललचाए और रहा न जाए…

Leftover Dal Cheela – I had some leftover dal from yesterday and I wanted to use that up..I would have made dal ka parantha but I wasn’t in the mood to knead dough 😔..so Dal ka cheela it is..I stuffed it with Paneer, capsicum, carrots bhurji..and served it up..was gobbled up within minutes..This one is a keeper ❤️ How to make this: ❤️ In a bowl whisk together 1 cup cooked dal, 1 cup besan, 4 tbsp rice flour, chopped onions, chopped green chillies, fresh coriander, some curd and water to adjust consistency. Adjust salt and let the batter rest for 20 min ❤️ After 20 minutes, give a nice mix, and pour ladleful of batter on a tawa and cook on medium heat. ❤️For the stuffing – Take some oil in a pan, sputter cumin seeds, add chopped onions, 1 tsp grated ginger, chopped carrots and tomato..Let it cook through ❤️ Then add chopped capsicum, and paneer, salt and mix together. ❤️Add fresh Coriander in the end. In this time where world is facing a deadly disease #coronavirus, snack on this tangy Makhana Chaat to ease of the stress that goes perfectly with a hot cup of chai. What flavour Makhana do you like best? Comment below. Recipe: Ingredients: 2 cups Makhana 1 tbsp ghee 1 onion, chopped 1 tomato, chopped ¼ cup roasted peanuts 1 potato, boiled and chopped into small pieces 1-2 tbsp mint chutney 1 tbsp tamarind chutney ½ tsp aamchoor powder ½ tsp roasted cumin powder 2-3 green chillies chopped ½ tsp red chilli powder ½ tsp kala namak ½ tsp ginger powder/saunth ¼ cup coriander, chopped ½ cup pomegranate seeds juice of 1 lemon Method: 1. In a pan, heat the ghee. Add the makhana and roast on low flame for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally 2. Remove and keep aside 3. Prepare rest of the ingredients. 4. In a bowl mix the chutneys, aamchoor powder, roasted cumin powder, red chili powder, black salt, ginger powder, and salt, as per requirement. 5. In another large bowl, add the roasted makhana, chopped onions, tomatos, roasted peanuts, green chilies. 6. Add the chutney mix and mix all of it well. 7.
