आपने आज तक बड़े-बड़े आलीशान महल देखेंगे होंगे, पर कभी ऑटो रिक्शा में चलता-फिरता घर देखा है? घर क्या आप इसे वन BHK फ़्लैट भी कह सकते हैं. सारी सुख-सुविधाओं से भरपूर ये घर चेन्नई के एक युवा ने तैयार किया है. 23 वर्षीय इस युवक का नाम अरुण प्रभु है, जिसके काम की हर ओर तारीफ़ हो रही है.

SOLO 01.A stunning, utilitarian design of a Portable / Detachable housing system.Unveiling our first prototype !As Clare Booth said “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication” Land, especially in the urban areas has always been considered a valuable commodity – an idea Mark Twain captured in his simple quote, “Buy land, they aren’t making it anymore.” This along with the current economic scenario has lead to the tiny house movement catching up all over the world and downsizing is the norm. Well for some communities, even a house that size could be a boon. Though unspoken about, small scale architecture is the most relevant in India and is often scrutinized for being underutilized in terms of space. Our vision is to shine a light on how to constantly improve the way of life of people around us without space or budget as parameters. SOLO: 01 is our first step towards achieving that goal concentrating on temporary and portable housing concepts in India. It is a utilitarian design of a compact 6’x 6′ space into a portable/detachable housing unit that can accommodate a solo individual like an artist, traveler, homeless people or even a small scale vendor. This is designed keeping in mind the concept of affordability and lifestyle of nomads and societal groups under the poverty line. The structure is fixed with just 6 bolts to the vehicle which can be easily unscrewed and kept at a specific site for some time or can be fixed to any other vehicle that holds the space of 6′ x 6′.This detachable feature makes the structure more efficient for various circumstances like as an emergency/temporary housing solutions.We’ve maximized the total 6’x6’ to give the value that isn’t minimalist but fully utilitarian. अरुण ने बजाज के आर ई ऑटो में थोड़े बदलाव करके उसे एक आलीशन घर में बदल दिया. ऐसा मत समझना कि ऑटो से बने घर में आपको किसी चीज़ की कमी महसूस होगी. इसमें बेडरूम, लिविंग रूम, किचन और टॉयलेट की सारी सुविधा मौजूद है. इसके अलावा पानी के लिये टैंक और टेंटहाउस में 600 वॉट का सोलर पैनल भी लगा हुआ है.

कैसे मिली घर बनाने की प्रेरणा 

दरअसल, अरुण ने 2019 में चेन्नई और मुंबई की झोपड़ी में कुछ समय बिताया. इसके बाद उन्हें एहसास हुआ कि एक झोपड़ी तैयार करने में कम से कम 4-5 लाख रुपये का ख़र्च आता है. इसके अलावा उसमें वो सारी सुविधाएं भी नहीं होती, जो एक घर में होनी चाहिये. बस इसी आईडिया को लेकर उन्होंने ऑटो रिक्शा को घर में बदल दिया.

रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, अरुण के टेंटहाउस का नाम सोलो 0.1 है, जिसे बनाने के लिये उन्होंने ज़्यादातर रिसाइकल की हुई चीज़ों का इस्तेमाल किया है. टेंटहाउस तैयार करने के लिये अरुण को कम से कम 5 से 6 महीने का समय लगा. 2019 के बाद एक बार फिर से अरुण के इस घर की ख़ूब तारीफ़ें हो रही हैं.
