यूं तो कोई भी दिन महिलाओं के बिना चल सके, ये मुमक़िन नहीं. फिर भी अंतरराष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस के तौर पर हम एक ख़ास दिन इस दुनिया को संवारने वाली महिलाओं को समर्पित करते है. ये दिन वाकई हमें एहसास कराता है कि महिलाएं किस तरह हर क्षेत्र में बख़ूबी अपनी भूमिका निभा रही हैं. यही वजह है कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने भी अपने सोशल मीडिया अकाउंट एक दिन के लिए इन महिलाओं के हवाले कर दिये.
अलग-अलग क्षेत्रों में कड़े संघर्ष के बाद क़ामयाबी पाने वाली 7 महिलाओं ने अंतरराष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस के मौके पर पीएम के ट्विटर, इंस्टाग्राम, फेसबुक अकाउंट और यू-ट्यूब पेज पर रविवार को अपनी कहानी बताई. इनमें किसान, स्वच्छता, दिव्यांगो के अधिकार, जल संरक्षण के क्षेत्र में काम करने वाली कार्यकर्ताओं के साथ ही भूख़ों के लिए काम करने वाली महिला समेत कश्मीरी हस्तकला उद्योग को फिर से लोकप्रिय बनाने वाली महिलाएं शामिल हैं.
पीएम मोदी ने इन 7 महिलाओं को अपना ट्विटर अकाउंट सौंपते हुए ट्वीट किया, ‘जैसा मैंने कुछ दिन पहले कहा था, मैं विदा ले रहा हूं. जिंदगी में ख़ास मुक़ाम हासिल करने वाली सात महिलाएं अपनी जीवन यात्रा को मेरे सोशल मीडिया अकांउट्स के जरिए आज साझा करेंगी और शायद आपसे बातचीत भी करें.’

कानपुर की महिला राजमिस्त्री कलावती सवच्छता के क्षेत्र में काम कर रह हैं. अब तक चार हजार से अधिक शौचालय बनवा चुकी हैं.
मैं जिस जगह पे रहती थी, वहां हर तरफ गंदगी ही गंदगी थी। लेकिन दृढ़ विश्वास था कि स्वच्छता के जरिए हम इस स्थिति को बदल सकते हैं।

वीणा बिहार के मुंगेर की रहने वाली हैं. अपने पलंग के नीचे मशरूम उगाकर सुर्खियों में आईं. आज हजारों किसानों को मशरूम की खेती के लिए प्रेरित कर उनकी जिंदगी बदल चुकी हैं.
