दलाई लामा ने जो Sexist बयान दिया था, उसके लिए माफ़ी मांगी है

आध्यात्मिक गुरू, दलाई लामा ने एक इंटरव्यू के दौरान विवादित और अजीब बयान दिया है.

BBC पत्रकार Rajini Vaidyanathan को दिए इंटरव्यू में उन्होंने कहा,

‘अगर Female Dalai Lama आती है, तो उसे आकर्षक होना पड़ेगा वरना लोग उसका चेहरा देखना पसंद नहीं करेंगे.’

This was perhaps the most surprising moment in the interview. I asked the Dalai Lama if he stood by his earlier comment that if his successor was female, she should be attractive.

हां दलाई लामा ने ख़ुद ये कहा है.

इस इंटरव्यू में दलाई लामा ने अन्य विषयों पर भी बात की. उनका मानना है कि यूरोप सिर्फ़ यूरोपियन्स के लिए होना चाहिए. दलाई लामा के शब्दों में यूरोप में रह रहे रिफ़्यूजीज़ को शिक्षित कर उनके देश भेजना ही लक्ष्य होना चाहिए.
