फ़्रांस की राजधानी पेरिस स्थित 800 साल पुरानी Notre-Dame Cathedral में 15 अप्रैल की रात भीषण आग लग गई.


फ्रांस की संस्कृति और इतिहास का प्रतीक है Notre-Dame Cathedral. फ्रांस के लोगों के लिए ये एक Cathedral से कहीं ज़्यादा है. ये शहर का प्रतीक है.

Notre-Dame Cathedral की विशेषता 

पैरिस में टूरिस्ट्स की पसंदीदा जगहों में से एक इस Cathedral को हर साल लगभग 13 मिलियन लोग देखने आते थे.


इस Cathedral का निर्माण 1160 में Bishop Maurice de Sully की निगरानी में शुरू हुआ था और ये 1260 में बनकर तैयार हुआ था. 

1804 में इसी Cathedral में Napoleon की ताजपोशी हुई थी.   

कैसे लगी आग? 

The New York Times के अनुसार, सोमवार शाम को तकरीबन 6:30 बजे आग Cathedral के ऊपरी हिस्सी में लगी.


22 Words के मुताबिक, Cathedral का Spire 295 फ़ीट ऊंचा था और दमकल कर्मियों को वहां तक पहुंचने में दिक्कत हो रही थी. 

रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक, टूरिस्ट्स का एक जत्था Cathedral से बाहर निकला और लोगों ने धुंआ उठता देखा.    

क्या-क्या नुकसान हुआ? 

New York Times के मुताबिक, Cathedral के दो Frontal Towers को बचा लिया गया पर छत का दो-तिहाई हिस्सा जलकर खाक हो चुका है.


Cathedral का 295 फ़ुट ऊंचा Spire गिर चुका है.

क्या-क्या चीज़ें बचा ली गईं? 

Cathedral में चल रहे है Renovation की वजह से कई मूर्तियों को हटाया गया था और इस वजह से कई चीज़ें बच गई.


दमकलकर्मियों ने Cathedral के कई Artworks बचा लिए.    

आग बुझने के बाद Cathedral के अंदर की पहली तस्वीर 

राष्ट्रपति ने Renovation का किया वादा 

राष्ट्रपति Emmanuel Macron ने Cathedral के Renovation के लिए Funds इकट्ठा करने की घोषणा की है.


साथ ही आग लगने की जांच भी करने के आदेश दिए हैं.   

Cathedral के जलने के दौरान ही एक टूरिस्ट ने ये वीडियो शेयर किया था, जिसमें पेरिस के लोग Hymns गा रहे हैं. ये प्रतीक है कि पैरिस वासियों की एकता और अखंडता का. 

दुनिया भर से लोग फ्रांस के लोगों के साथ खड़े हैं.
