इसरो ने सफ़लतापूर्वक चंद्रयान-2 लॉन्च कर लिया है. श्रीहरिकोटा स्थित सतीश धवन स्पेस सेंटर से चंद्रयान-2 को अंतरिक्ष भेजा गया.

इसरो प्रमुख. के. सिवन ने चंद्रयान-2 के सफ़ल परिक्षण की पुष्टि की. सिवन ने सभी वैज्ञानिकों, इंजीनियर्स और टेक्निकल एक्सपर्ट्स को बधाई दी. सिवन ने ये भी बताया कि चंद्रयान ‘Intended Orbit’ से अच्छे Orbit तक पहुंचा है.
चंद्रयान-2 चांद के दक्षिणी ध्रुव पर लैंड करेगा और शोध करेगा. इससे पहले किसी भी स्पेस संस्था ने अपना मिशन चांद के दक्षिणी ध्रुव पर नहीं भेजा है.
सितंबर 7 चांद पर चंद्रयान-2 के ‘प्रज्ञान रोवर’ की लैंडिंग होगी.
