लेकिन इसके बावजूद जेफ़ बेज़ोस को ट्विटर पर ट्रोल किया गया. इंग्लैंड के लेबर पार्टी के नेता Jeremy Corbyn ने कहा कि यह जेफ़ की निजी संपत्ती का मात्र 0.09% है.

इसके बाद से ही कई लोग जेफ़ के इस डोनेशन की आलोचना करने लगे. उनका आरोप था कि जितना वो समाज से कमा रहे उसकी तुलना में वो बस नाममात्र का दान कर रहे हैं.
